All of the field trips we offer are Los Angeles Unified School District Vendor Approved, Licensed and Insured.</br> <br><b>Is your company insured?</b></br> <br>We carry more than the required amount of insurance and can show proof of insurance if need be.</br> <br><b>Do you accept purchase orders?</b></br> <br>Yes, we will accept POs, cash, or credit.</br> <br><b>What is your reservation policy?</b></br> <br>We require a $100 deposit or a copy of the purchase order to hold the date.</br> <br><b>How many students can participate in the field trip?</b></br> <br>We can accomodate up to 300 students at one time.</br> <br><b>What ages of students can participate in the field trip?</b></br> <br>We will allow students from Preschool through 12th grade. We also encourage parents to come and they will be eligible for a special discount ticket.</br> <br><b>Is there a required student to teacher ratio?</b></br> <br>No, but we encourage teachers and parents to attend.</br> <br><b>What days and times are the field trips available?</br></b> <br>Please call (562) 983-6880 to find out what days and times are available</br> <br><b>Where do you check in?</b></br> <br>Please have one person check-in at least 20 minutes prior to departure at the ticketbooth located at dock #2. The rest of the group may line up along the railing to the right of the dock entrance. Note: Physical tickets will not be handed out, we will just need the final group count.</br> <br><b>Do you have restrooms on board?</br></b> <br>Yes, our boats offer multiple restrooms.</br> <br><b>What type of clothing/shoes/hat/glasses should we wear?</br></b> <br>Wear warm clothing, preferable wind proof, non-skid shoes, a head cover, sunglasses, and smile.</br> <br><b>Is there anything to eat or drink on board?</br></b> <br>Yes, a snack bar is aboard with cold and warm beverages, as well as candy, hot dogs and packaged snacks to satisfy your hunger. We recommend students bring $5 for the snack bar. Outside food and beverages are not allowed, but there's a grass area in front of the Aquarium where students can eat packed lunches after.</br> <br><b>Is the cruise designed to safely accomodate children?</br></b> <br>Yes, high railings around each boat, non-skid decks, and a well trained staff help keep children safe. We have more than enough life jackets for all passengers in the rare case of an emergency.</br> <br><b>How large are the boats?</br></b> <br>65 to 80 feet long, 20 feet wide, twin engine, double deck, with raised pilot house.</br> <br><b>How fast do the boats go?</br></b> <br> Approximately 12 to 18 knots.</br> <br><b>Is your staff experienced?</br></b> <br>We've been providing safe and educational field trips for the past 10 years.
